What inspires you? and what about that?
- when I felt “goosebumps” as I watched a video – I was inspired.
- that what I was reading was really resonating with me – I was inspired.
- when I giggled to myself after I saw a darling napkin fold – I was inspired.
I bring this up because I think it’s important to pay attention to those moments. They are gifts to yourself, you are learning more about who you are.
My family was not aware that for 10 years I have been building a library of alternative healing modalities – I had been inspired and it became a quiet passion. I wasn’t sick, I just liked having immediate access to that information.
Recently, one of my sisters (an RN) was diagnosed with breast cancer. Immediately I sent her some of my resource books on alternative healing modalities. I also delivered the 9 video series on The Truth About Cancer. To my delight, both she and her husband have now watched it twice +! They took notes, made many calls, shed tears and consulted with an oncologist. This week they took action. The people they met this week around healing alternatives out of California are nothing but awe-inspiring. As I write this, she is at an appointment in Mexico undergoing their alternative treatment – she has a plan. I feel that it is a forgone conclusion that she is healed.
Four years ago my niece visited me. During that visit I introduced her to an institute of natural healing in my city. We met with a local Naturopath and we talked to a manager at a health food store. Those conversations provided her a different perspective she didn’t have available in her small home town. Today she studying health and nutrition. She’s excited about being able to contribute to people (including her mother with breast cancer) plus she should always be able to be employed in this growing health industry. I continue to keep my ears and eyes open for solutions to ALS.
I share all this because for me, it’s all about paying attention to that “little voice” we have in our heads that gets inspired. You never know where it will lead you.
