Living in a small space (~ 1200 sq ft) I attempt to maximize every square inch of my home. It’s at the point now that prior to bringing anything home, I think about where I will store it or what will it replace. My other “thing” around storage is that I like to be able to easily view options I’ve collected without much effort.
When I ran across this storage idea, I was pretty happy with it because it met both of my criteria as stated above. Plus, I like to press my napkins right before I fold them, so this solution supports that too. Once my napkins are washed and dried, I’m now folding them in half, then in half again forming a square, and in half again. Then I stand them on end, this way I can immediately see what I have available.
I get that “storage solutions” are not exactly a “hot topic” but I like a having a home that works for me. I’ve tried several solutions and so far so good with this one!
